Re: Bumblebee online database..

Martin:
To try not to double efforts. Maybe we can use the Wiki:
http://hybrid-graphics-linux.tuxfamily.org/index.php
to store data about this.

Tha ACPI calls to enable cards is still not working for most of us,
since the main concern before Bumblebee was just turn off the card and
leave it that way. Now I think we are facing the second half of the
problem: To turn the card ON again and be able to use it.

I've posted an issue in acpi_call's GitHub about this. But I think we
can not encourage using automatic power management under bumblebee until
we know for sure how to turn no/off the discrete cards in a safe and
stable way. (I personally discourage it from the ArchWiki about
Bumblebee).

So i think we must be careful about introducing this feature at least
for the time being and treat it as experimental.

Best regards
