Re: Sandy bridge disable geforce and get HDMI/DisplayPort working

 

I was able to connect the HDMI output via a DVI connector to a TV, but this
was not using the nVidia card AFAIK.
Furthermore, the display showed up partially (i.e. the left upper corner).
I'm not sure what the exact problem was,
either a driver issue at the laptops side, or an issue with the TV.

IIRC, LLsharks (Eric Appleman?) was trying to get such a setup, where the
nvidia card is used for outputs (e.g. HDMI).
