Hello all,

Good news for all owners of the Lenovo IdeaPad Y470 and Lenovo IdeaPad
Y570, I've
managed to make an ugly hack that works around a detection issue in the
kernel
(https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42696)

Until a correct fix has been comitted for the kernel, you can use a hack
for overwriting
the wrongly detected ACPI handle. More information on that is available in:

Please note that this hack is by no means a real solution, but an ugly
workaround.
