[Bug 1665736] Re: unstable packages installed without warning

I totally agree, and quite surprised that not more people complain about this (and want this changed).
Alone in our company we wasted quite some time by getting unwanted openjdk-9 debs installed:
* in most cases the problem of getting openjdk-9 installed when there's *no* (older) openjdk yet installed (we experienced this for ex with zookeeper and/or mesos debs)
* but even in some cases with pre-installed openjdk-8, some deb packages were not happy with the installed openjdk-8(-jre). We just have this case with the jmx_prometheus_httpserver-*.deb pkg (in which case it must also be a bad dependency of that deb package)

Title:
  unstable packages installed without warning

Status in openjdk-9 package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
The openjdk-9 packages are packages of unstable early-access preview builds of Java 9.
To users that are not aware of release dates for Java it looks like those are stable ready-to-use packages.
Maybe there should be a prominent warning added that has to be dismissed actively on installation and that warns that these packages contain unstable early-access preview builds.
