Seems, it is bad assumption. See attached fig ISC Time & Count VS 
vertetDist.
Default vertelDist (0.05) is good and here no big interval for 
improvement of perfomance...
(from 0.05 verletDist to 0.1 boost is 6%, after this prefomance is worsen)
