[Question #146559]: Installing Ubuntu on AC100

New question #146559 on AC100_kernel:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ac100/+question/146559

Hi guys.

I've been trying to install Ubuntu on my AC100-114. The ac100-toolkit seems not work properly, and I've noticed linux4tegra used by it is not up to date (10.8.2 version, instead of 10.9.3). I don't really know if it makes a difference.

I've flashed boot.img from phh's site (the Jan 16 one) using this toolkit. Don't know if it's the best method. I've tried to follow this : http://kotelett.no/ac100/phh/2011-01-16/kernel.txt

... but I don't understand what to do with modules-xxx.tbz2. Where is "/." ?? In the device ? If yes, can I have access to it without recovering Android ? Because Android is not usable now.

Host: Ubuntu 10.10 64-bits - 6 GB RAM - fair enough free disk space.
AC100-114 has been updated to Android 2.2, then partitions have been backuped, then partition 5 has been flashed with boot.img from phh's site (also 2011-01-16 folder).

I have the USB cable, I know how to put the device in recovery mode. I also have an external SD card 15 MB/sec.

I have a lot of questions, I really feel lost... So thank you very very much for any help.
