Re: Natty successful install ...
Good afternoon Nicolas Wolovick and thanks for these good news.
Currently I have "phh's latest" installed
on my ac100. I am satisfied with it (except for the not so good quality
sound working only on external
headphones, and the not so good quality video), but I would like to try
ogra. My first attempt was unseccesful, maybe because phh's latest is
installed in the internal memory of my ac100,
or because I tried to make the new installation on an sd card, not on
the internal memory.
When you made your installation, was phh's latest installed in the
internal memory, and have you made
ogra installation in the internal memory or on an sdcard? Or have you
first re-installed android? 2.1 or 2.2?
Thanks,
C.-M. Marle

I've put http://people.canonical.com/~ogra/tegra/2.6.37/
<http://people.canonical.com/%7Eogra/tegra/2.6.37/> on my AC100 10T
and it is just fantastic.
My previous installation was
http://salaliitto.com/~gildean/ac100/wiki/phh/
<http://salaliitto.com/%7Egildean/ac100/wiki/phh/>
Highlights:
* WiFi is now very stable.
* It seems to be much more power-aware, yesterday it seemed to run
almost 5hs.
* Display backlight dim.
* 64MB more of RAM.
* 2.6.38 updated kernel! And it seems very stable. Previous 2.6.32 got
freezes from time to time.
* Tegra 12 alpha video drivers (by hand using dpkg) are giving me
randr, though I did not tested HDMI.
If only suspend worked, this setting would be definitive for me.
Reading #ac100 it seems on the near future.
Thanks for the good work.
Best, Nico
