I also switched to the 2.6.38 kernel from the ac100 ppa. In my my
case, even though there is a slight improvement of image quality on
the ac100, the main issue remains unsolved.

My screen is not recognized correctly and would only display 640x480.
We will see if a newer nvidia-tegra driver will change that situation.

Title:
  HDMI out is limited to 640x480

Status in Enablement project for the Toshiba AC100 NetBook:
  New

Bug description:
  I can activate HDMI output on a running ac100 or boot with HDMI cable
  plugged. Howewer the resolution of my external 1680x1050 (16:10)
  screen would always be limited to 640x480 (4:3). I cannot change this
  value.

  Screen detection would not be possible. The external screen remains
  <unknown>

  Attached file is a Xorg.0.log with external screen plugged on boot.
