unfortunately, not much change :-( As ogra suggested on IRC, we could try 3.1 
kernel (based on the nv-tegra sources), but it needs fixing the text console. 
Maybe someone with more experiences (maybe at canonical) can check where the 
problem comes from. I have no idea...

there is progress ;-)

There also exist a "prove of concept" patch to get the display up (very basic 
kms driver, which will be the base for future developemnt). It needs a xf86-
video-modesetting driver. I already filed a wishlist bug to include it. A 
working tree is in my for-next branch on gitorious, but don't expect too much. 
I think we should not depend on this kernel.

There is also an unfinished chromeos-3.2 branch on nv-tegra.nvidia.com, I 
don't know what the plans are with this one. For my taste, there are too many 
different kernels already.

So to be on the save side, we should use a 3.1 kernel and maybe also a 
"mainline" version for "experiemental" use.
