Marc Dietrich proposed the following answer:
AFAIK, xscreensaver does not support opengl/es (it is a bit different
api and you need to like against different libraries, libGLES instead of
libGL). You can take a look at http://www.jwz.org/blog/2012/06/i-have-
ported-xscreensaver-to-the-iphone/ so see how much work it is.
