Re: Couldn't install because lack of network
Hi Mark,
just download the normal (LiveCD) .iso file, 32 or 64 bits version and then 'burn' your iso on USB stick with UNetbootin: <http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/>.
I'm not sure if LAN is directly working, wireless will do.

Subject: [Acertimeline] Couldn't install because lack of network
Hi folks!
I just got one of the acer 3810T, and I'm really in trouble to install
the OS on it.
It doesn't have cd/dvd player, so download a bootable usb image. It
boots ok from it, but not the ethernet, nor the wireless cards are
detected during the installation, so I can't go on with the
installation process, so the usb image is for network based
installation.
Am I missing something very obvious? I've checked the internet and the
mailing list for some discussion on the same problem without success.
Thanks a lot!
Marc
