Re: laptop model

Hi,

The output from the command requested is
Aspire 3810T
V1.08

I am using 9.04, x64, installed from live-usb, then updated from standard sources, then upgraded with hints from this location (pretty accurate, and solves java/flash problem, most important)

http://futuredesktop.org/

And then to fix the speed of the graphics card,

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1130582

Doing part A and C ( I consider to do part D as well)

Verified before and after using
google earth... Before: not possible to use, after, no problem.
VLC HD-video..Before: not good, after: possible

Status:
Most things works as we can expect, but
1) sleep/suspend/hibernate seems to be an issue. Goes to power-down when trying to wakeup.
2) minor, but mentioned by others, the blue-tooth needs to be turned off after each boot.

Best regards,
Sigbjørn
