Re: Ubuntu in ACER 5830TG
Hi Michele,
I did exactly what I was planning to do and it has been working extremely well.
Both Win and Ubuntu are now working as dual booting with no problem.
cheers,
Augusto

Hi Augusto,
how was at the end your experience?
I'm running 12.04 Kubuntu on a 3820TG, and almost everything works
fine. Only problem is the ATI card that cannot be switched but
only turned off. But I've got really good autonomy and it's a
great laptop!
Cheers,
Michele

I was wondering if someone in this list has had some experiences
(good, bad?) doing this. I'm planning to partition the
hard-drive from
Win 7 (using disk 'shrink') are there problems/dangers doing
this?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Cheers,
Augusto
