New question #240055 on simple-scan in Ubuntu:

Je viens d'acheter une imprimante-scanner Brother DCP-J4110DW.
Installation des pilotes grâce à un script trouvé sur le site de Brother : aucun problème.
La fonction scanner marche bien avec Simple Scan mais le résultat est en 'noir et blanc' avec Ubuntu 13.10, 64 bits.
Par ailleurs, sur un autre poste sous Ubuntu 12.04, 32 bits, installation avec le même script et là, Simple Scan donne bien un résultat en couleur !
Sur le poste sous 13.10, J'ai finalement installé XSane qui me donne bien un résultat en couleur.

Où est le problème ? Une solution ?

With a workstation Ubuntu 13.10, 64 bits, Simple Scan give only 'black and white' result with a Brother DCP-J4110DW.
On another laptop with Ubuntu 12.04, 32 bits, we get color result.
On these 2 computers, the drivers was setup with the same script found on Brother website.
XSane give a color result on the 13.10 computer
