Thierry FAVRE gave more information on the question:
No, pavucontrol is already installed, but when the internal microphone volume is set to "base", the sound is inaudible, and if I increase the microphone volume, there is too much "white" noise.
Same with alsamixer low level tool and  gnome alsa mixer.
