Hi everybody,

Since this list has really little traffic, I decided to update you and say
that AndroidU1 project is far from sleeping. In September I had a one month
break, that's why updates stopped coming. Still most current version is
0.4.4b, which is however rough around the edges.

I wanted to let you know, that I learn new things every day, and decided to
write AU1 from scratch. During GSoC I did my best to produce good quality
code. But now that I'm not rushed by particular deadlines - I want to add a
dashboard, action bar, maybe even replace the menu with quick actions. Also,
whenever it's possible, provide backward compatibility with older versions
of Android. From U1 perspective, implement missing UDF support,
publishing/sharing files, sync, and support delta/generations which will
make those [sync] transfers smaller. As you can see, many goodies coming to
AndroidU1.

Not only I'd like to produce even better quality code, more modular and
extensible, but also introduce application testing which is available and
complex (in positive sense) on Android. I've got the guidelines I need, and
I'm ready to roll.

I'll keep you posted.
