If you unplug your network cable while the UL30 is on the system will
freeze (no response from terminals).  The related bug report can be found
at http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=14604.  I can confirm that
the bug report's suggested patch for the atl1c driver module resolves 
the problem.

Alternatively, if you don't disconnect the cable often, you can
work around the problem by disconnecting only while suspended to ram.
