I discovered a test case that fell into an infinite loop [1]. This led
the test automation getting stuck. While this is clearly a test that
needs to be modified, is there a clever way to prevent this in the
general case? Putting a time limit on the jenkins job works to unstick
the automation, but that's a very big hammer and we lose the videos
and other artifacts. I manually intervened to collect the video for
[1].

Any ideas short of adding a test time limit to autopilot itself?
