Most probably the dock is set to auto-hide mode. Right click on the
dock.. then click 'Latte Dock Settings' and then check the always
visible option.

  Icon's on docky not visible

Bug description:
  Icons in docky get out of sight after using for some time. But when we
  hover the mouse over it, they pop up and are visible to us. I am using
  Backslash Linux Kristoff beta.
