Glad you like it! As I wrote in the merge request, I did not want to put 
the stable 6.0 branch at risk with a change this big, but instead base 
the 6.1 branch on it, using the meantime for ironing out bugs and 
process feedback (except that we did not get any). Just today we have 
come across some more minor issues ourselves which I will be fixing in 
the next couple of days.

It would be great if you could get started on the upgrade to 6.1, based 
on this branch. I am currently working on our upgrade project 
(https://launchpad.net/openupgrade-server) and after I have finished the 
basic accounting modules I will be ready for aiding you in this task.

Adding an analytic account for the write off should be very easy, btw. 
Feel free to do so.
