Yes it does!

the bug (that i should file and fix asap) is that the rule matches the bank statement line as a subset of the partner name and not vice versa.

If you look at the code and compare that rule with the one that matches the extra field in the partner (which works fine), you will see that the regexp is applied the other way round.
