Message #00258
[Bug 1490634] [NEW] plugin should "de-register" itself from master /etc/hosts when departing
Public bug reported:
1. juju deploy apache-hive hive
2. juju deploy apache-hadoop-plugin plugin
3. juju add-relation hive plugin
4. juju destroy-service hive
5. juju deploy apache-hive hive
6. juju add-relation hive plugin
7. juju ssh hive/0
8. cat /etc/hosts
You'll have an entry from 2 plugin units in /etc/hosts, even though the
first one was killed with step 4. We should de-register the /etc/hosts
entry from hdfs/yarn master KV unitdata when plugins go away. This
probably affects compute-slave too.
** Affects: apache-hadoop-plugin (Juju Charms Collection)
Importance: Undecided
Assignee: Juju Big Data Development (bigdata-dev)
Status: New
