Hi,

Let's talk start some tech-talks :-)

I've noticed that MapWidget - the canvas on which map content is
rendered - keeps reference to single MapProvider object.
It would suggest thatonly one source of map is attached at time
and only content of that single source can be rendered.
In other words, is it valid to assume there can be only one overlay
per map at once?

Is MapProvider planned to work with file-based map datasets (using GDAL)?
