Title:
In Budgie Welcome / Getting Started, single-click install of web
browsers fails without helpful notification
Status in budgie-welcome package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
So, having clicked on Browser Ballot, & trying to install Firefox, a
Welcome App notification appears which says "installation failed" or
similar.
The thing is, I realised that I wasn't connected to the internet at that time, but it'd be so much more helpful if the notification said:
"installation failed - check your internet connection"
or
"installation failed - <insert other specific reason here>."
Thanks,
Ken.
