Re: Betters docs needed on using bzr with git/hg backends

Hi Ian,

On 03/09/10 05:43, Ian Clatworthy wrote:
Several months ago, John Szakmeister wrote a fantastic document
explaining how Bazaar can be used as a client for Subversion
repositories. See

Now that bzr-git and bzr-hg have matured, can someone please do the same
for Git and Mercurial? The current material is just a "placeholder", i.e.:

*
http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/migration/en/foreign/bzr-on-git-projects.html
*
http://doc.bazaar.canonical.com/migration/en/foreign/bzr-on-hg-projects.html

Once updated documents are available, I'm hoping to look at what small
changes I can make in Explorer to better support all 3 foreign tools.
I think dpush support would be most useful for all three.
Jelmer,

Could you please check that
http://wiki.bazaar.canonical.com/BzrForeignBranches/Git and
http://wiki.bazaar.canonical.com/BzrForeignBranches/Git are up to date
wrt what's working vs known limitations?
I've just updated these two web pages.

Cheers,

Jelmer
