Re: bzr-eclipse 1.4.0 release
I have installed a new development version, to try out the import
wizard and history features. Things worked fine for me, but I
think the user experience needs some work.
Clicking "Finish" on the import wizard starts another wizard, so
it wasn't finished at all. If possible, the wizards should be
combined.
The "advanced" page includes a way to fetch the revision log, but
this doesn't have your new "fetch more revisions" functionality.
The user is then presented with 3 (or 2) options:
1] Import existing projects
2] Use the New Project Wizard
3] Import as General Project
I think this choice is not necessary.
If there are existing projects, the user almost certainly wants
to import them, so option 1] should just happen. If there are
scenarios where this isn't desirable then it could be made an
advanced option.
Otherwise, they should just be dropped into the New Project
Wizard, and they can select General Project from there if that's
what they want.
What do you think?
Sorry for the delay in feedback,
Alex
