The latter sounds visually cleaner.
It would be nice to be able to configure the default.


Another thing that we'd need to fix if we want to support virtual repositories
with hundreds of branches, is the time it takes to open them.
Maybe it should just keep a saved cache of known branches and then only
rescan when the Refresh. button is clicked (It could scan in the
background too I suppose)

At the moment I think I should just organise my stuff better so I can
have smaller and more
focused virtual repositories.
