Would you like to take it one step further and perhaps attach a copy
of what you think would be a better version of this page?

Perhaps we have false consciousness, but I really think it is #1 and
not at all #2 and #3.  The core team want a good experience for
Windows users and realize they have different requirements to Windows
users.  I think all of us would support the kind of vision Ian laid
out on this list.

The details of how you get a batteries included installer are a bit
complicated but that's definitely the vision.
