    Currently we can not only change the permissions for groups in place of users because a single username and password may be or may not be used for the same group. 
    
   But if we need smtp to be configured for a group of users we need vast changes in the smtpclient.Please share your views.

Bug description:
IMHO the permissions should be group based not user based.
