We are currently focusing on the release of v6, and at this point
features frozen. Let's mark this bug as Wishlist for now, to be

Bug description:
These are nice-to-haves, not actual bugs:

1) when you hide a field, be able to specify if the space that they are using is conserved (saved, left empty), or if all of the fields to the right of them will be moved left.

2) when you have an on-change on a read-only field, that field is never saved when you click the SAVE button.  You should be able to save that field.
