What I am saying is that users have no feedback (except where copy is
printed) that they are working on the copied resources and if they do
not change the name / code - (many good or bad reasons for this ....) we
have to (more or less) identical resources.

this is not user friendly and fool proof.

Status in OpenObject Server: Won't Fix

Bug description:
IMHO the defaut copy funtion should add the string "(copy)" to name and code

currently it is often not possible to distinguish between original and copy (except of the higher  id but this is beyond most users understanding)
