Hello Dr Ferdinand,

Currently we are giving timespan related statistics in postgres reports
and same implementation in dashboards may not be fruitful. so i am
closing and setting your bug as wishlist. If you think it's  really a
lack, i suggest you to create a blueprint: the best ideas may  be
implemented for a future version.

Bug description:
Example - All sales related dashboard
no idea what agregate of figures is reported

Dashboards are either
* current status (balance, current stage) or
* timespan related - in this case the timespane must be "declared" 
Example: Sale dashboard - it looks like this gives the numbers of all data stored in OpenERP - IMHO - nobdoe wants to see a cumulated statistic starting with the beginning of ERP data collection.
IMHO we need statistics as for reporting - this / last wekk/month/year
or a special dashboard holding date of the last 12 weeks or so
* Incoming Sale Orders
* Open Saleorders
* Liquidity
* unpaid invoices (in/Out)
* overdue invoices
* Available Stock for sale
* stock of raw material
* liquidity
this would allow to see trends
