[Bug 670255] Re: [6.0RC1] Sale Order - "Group by Date" wrong wording
I think it's not that wrong: group by day would have been incorrect, but
group by date is correct. (month is the default group_by for a
date_field). It's seems it's now "Order Date". It's not that bad because
it allows us to add: delivery date, invoice date, creation date, etc. If
you just put "month", it's not clear on which field it applies.
For useability I propose this:
- group by is better when it's the name of the field when they are several date field on an object
- we set the right icon according to the group by method: day, month, year.
Please note that it changed to Group by Order Date in SO, instead of
Group by Date.
