Bug description:
I add a filter in a tree view, select "Save as a Shortcut", then open a popup with this error:

<type 'exceptions.TypeError'>: unicode() argument 2 must be string, not None
      args = ('unicode() argument 2 must be string, not None',)
      message = 'unicode() argument 2 must be string, not None'
