Thank you for your suggestion! However this is unfortunately out of the scope of the current OpenERP release, so we cannot implement it. Currently it's not possible to have a button updating the context of same tab.
Let's close this bug for now, for the sake of clarity in Launchpad, it can always be reopened later when we consider new features for future roadmaps.

Status in OpenObject Addons Modules: Won't Fix

Bug description:
thy button "My Orders" does not work 

IMHO members of "Sale Users" group must see all SO, default only the own.
( i have put all demo users in the sales team and set the user preferences)
