[Bug 671512] Re: Can't save a new predefined export

 

OK, you are free to say that OpenERP S.A. doesn't want to fix this bug
because it only affects the official OpenERP stable version. I don't
oblige anybody to fix it. But why do you put the status to "won't fix" ?
I let users think that nobody will fix the bug... which gives a bad
image of the OpenERP community.

Maybe I will take the time to fix the bug myself, if I have some spare
time. Maybe someone else in the community will find this bug and fix it.
So the "won't fix" status is inappropriate. I think we should leave the
Status as "new" or create an "OpenERP S.A. won't fix" flag.

Status in OpenObject GTK Client: Won't Fix

Bug description:
With OpenERP Client 5.0.15 and OpenERP Server 5.0.15, here is the bug scenario :

0) Open an object (let's say the "Partners" for example)
1) In the menu : Form > Export Data
2) I select a field and clic on "Add"
3) I open the prefefined Exports
4) I click on the "save list" button
5) In the pop-up, I give a name to the export and clic on "OK"

=> Problem : The export is not saved.

Note : I opened the bug against OpenObject Client, but it may be a bug elsewhere, I don't know...
