So if you aren't going to fix this, what is your long-term strategy for
localization?
Requiring localizations to replace all the reports?
That seems like a lot of duplication.

Status in OpenObject Server: Won't Fix

Bug description:
In order to produce professional results, you need to be able to use
the appropriate paper size for the locale in which you're doing
business for generated reports. For example, much of Europe is likely
to use A4 paper, much of the Us is likely to use letter or legal paper
for accounting reports.

The paper size of reports appears to be hard coded.

Two problems. First, it doesn't seem to be documented where the
papersize is set or how to change it. I'm not sure whether it comes
from the RML header stored in the database, from the particular RML
file, or from somewhere in the code. I've tried playing around with
what appear to be page frame sizes to no apparent effect. In the short term, this should be documented. (And if someone would mind filling me in, that would be greatly appreciated.:-)

Longer term, a configuration option should be provided to select this. It's probably also important to make sure this works well with margins and that when papersize is changed, the common reports still look good.
