This needs to be improved in all places in addons where active field is used.
So I am not assigning this bug to single team,instead subscribing this to all three related teams.
I am requesting to related teams to do these changes for the relevant modules.

Bug description:
If the active field is set to true, it will allow you to hide the subscription document without removing it.

IMHO 
If the active field is set to FALSE ....
