Re: [Bug 676274] Re: commented XML code crashes inherited views
I spent 1 hour finding out what's wrong.
A comment is a comment and should have no influence on the code
behaviour.

commented XML code crashes inherited views
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/676274
You received this bug notification because you are a member of C2C
OERPScenario, which is subscribed to the OpenERP Project Group.
Status in OpenObject Server: Confirmed
Bug description:
My code is (headers ommited)
<record id="page_orded_sale" model="ir.ui.view">
<field name="name">page_orded_sale</field>
<field name="model">sale.order</field>
<field name="inherit_id" ref="sale.view_order_form"/>
<field name="type">form</field>
<field name="arch" type="xml">
<data>
<!-- <xpath expr="//page[@string='Sale Order & Purchases']/page[@string='notes']" position="replace"/> -->
<xpath expr="//page[@string='Notes']" position="replace"/>
</data>
</field>
</record>
And it gives error: Couldn't find tag '<<built-in function Comment>>' in parent view
When I delete commented code, everything works OK.
Why commented code makes any difference?
