I have already put that patch in my branch, for testing.
Please note that it will *not* be suitable for trunk unless we restore those
"try" blocks.
The reason is that if some ir.ui.view or ir.ui.menu is missing (eg. manually
deleted or from a bad install/upgrade), it would render the modules' form
unaccessible[1] and prevent us from further fixing the modules.
So, patch needs a little correction.
[1] as far as I remember, a few months ago that it had happened here.
