[Bug 645846] Re: Client can be minimized when modal windows are open
Hi Lionel,
I have face this less often that with the children windos opened, parent
windows can be operated. This should never the scenario.
Bug 592081 is somewhat a nearer one.
I would like to close the bug as I see that this is nowhere a GTK
problem.
I am not completely sure, but this gives me an insight of having problem
in OSs.
Please correct me if I missed anything.

Status in OpenObject GTK Client: New
Bug description:
In 5.0.14, the GTK client is allowed to be minimized even when a modal widow is open, such as a search window or an error dialog.
On Windows you can always minimize the client by clicking the entry in the task bar.
On Gnome you can always minimize the client by clicking the entry in the task bar, or clicking the window-manager's buttons on the main window.
Allowing modal windows to be minimized is counter-intuitive, so it should be impossible on all platforms.
Moreover, on Windows XP, our useres are facing recurring situations where a minimized search window can't be de-minimized anymore - effectively making the whole client non-responding.
