I tried this at my end and fortunately this is not an issue.
If you have a partner selected and the record is saved, there is no possibility to have this issue.

Let us know again when you try with updated code and if the issue still
persists.

Bug description:
Hello,

With the trunk versions of OE server and OE client web,
when I choose a product, this osv except is displayed even if i have correctly selected a partner id:

"You have to select a customer in the sale form ! Please set one customer before choosing a product"
