[Bug 680315] Re: Importing products does not import product default taxes
Hi Ana,
The mapping of taxes is loosely bound.
The taxes/tax plans of magento are completely different compared to that
of openerp. So when orders (order lines to be precise) are imported, the
tax rate is mapped to a sale tax that has the same percentage. If there
is a tax, it is chosen as the tax. Else the tax is left empty.
Product download from magento does not take the taxes into
consideration.
Will be glad to see this better implemented, but I guess we (Raphael and
Me) have no better idea as we had discussed this once.
