Unfortunately it's not possible to do it and keep the actually usability
with attrs and so on... if we display the selection field the user could
always change the costing method to "standard" and then change the cost
price anyway...

Bug description:
the button update is availabel for "demo user"
IMHO update of the standard_price  of products with costing method = average price should not be allowed (to normal users)
