[Bug 670353] Re: 5.0.14 widget='image' problem

 

Hello Joshua,

I have checked it with GTK Client and WebClient in Ubuntu and also on
windows Xp Operating system. It is working fine in both the Operating
systems in Firefox and Internet Explorer.

Please update your code and If the problem still occurring at your end, Please report it to our maintenance team via the OpenERP Publisher's Warranty. They will quickly help solve the issue and backport the fix if needed.

Bug description:
I want to add a field in to product
PY file :

from osv import osv, fields

class product_product(osv.osv):
    _name = 'product.product'
    _inherit = 'product.product'
    _description = 'Product'
    _columns = { 'pic':fields.binary('Pic'),
}
 
product_product()
XML file:

      <field name="type">form</field>

1.in GTK  client work
2.in FireFox ,the 'pic' field disappear
3.in IE8.0,the 'pic' appear,but when I upload the picture it`s error

ERROR MESSAGE:

<type 'exceptions.ValueError'>: invalid literal for int() with base 10: '' 
      args = ("invalid literal for int() with base 10: ''",) 
      message = "invalid literal for int() with base 10: ''"


This error will happen when you create a new product in web Client. iF you just modify it it`s no problem
