Hello Julian Robbins,

The history created in the opportunity form comes in string from
database. While the value of "date" field comes according to locale set
in the machine.

Probably, you might have installed your DB in same locale,and this might help you.
As this is not a blocking point really, keeping this in radar for future releases.

  Date in History In Opportunities has wrong format

Bug description:
  with latest trunk 6.0

Using English (UK) set as language in web interface

In Opportunities -> History tab 
History-> Dates shown with actions are in US format

Confusingly if you then click on an action you see the date shown two times, but in different formats, one correct one, wrong
