These should be one of the alternates:
1. Remove the field from search panel.
2. Add fnct_search for his field(I recommend).
3. Add store=True(An ugly workaround if you really want to see this field searchable and don't want to follow point no.2).

  the filter is "dead" all resources are returned regadless of what is entered
btw the field  can't be sorted neither
