In fact this comes from an issue in the framework that allows m2m relationships to be linked twice.
We are already working on it in bug 558658, so I will mark this bug as a duplicate of it.

  Error with demo data for "Demo User"

Bug description:
  * Using a DB with demo data loaded, look at groups assigned by default to "Demo User" (see attached screenshot)

=> "Demo User" is linked 5x to the "Sales / User" group
