Again:
Scenario #1:
Try to select any digit, several digits, or underscore in the date widget, which you want to be replaced on next key-press by other digits from keyboard. On the key-press nothing happens.
Scenario #2:
Navigate to date widget by pressing tabs on keyboard, all the digits or underscores in the date widget gets selected, but there is no option to replace them with digits typed on keyboard.

This is hard landing for any power user who uses keyboard instead of
mouse for data input. Which renders OpenERP practically unusable in real
life data input, for any operator who inputs large amounts of data.

Normal behavior would be, selected digits/underscores to be replaced on
typing the digits from keyboard.

  It is not possible to enter or change date from keyboard, when date that is present in the field has been selected - it does not allow to enter digits.
