After more investigation, another bug could possibly have had an impact
on translation exports when done in the "tgz" format.

If this is what you were using (as we did), then this bug was partially
correct but this is now fixed after server revision 3139 revision-id:
odo@xxxxxxxxxxx-20101221170809-zqusunjw2em9xz9y.

Updated POT files will be pushed in a few minutes, in which some module
descriptions/shortdescr were indeed missing.

  [6.0RC1] when export a translation file, short name and description of the module are not extracted

Bug description:
  When you export a translation file, the short name and the description of the module are not extracted in the .pot file.

Due this bug, I suppose that most of the templates in Rosetta for v 6.0 (trunk) have lost the short name and the description of each module and people are not translating them.
